Hematoxylin & Eosin (H&E)

CONSISTENT & REPEATABLE STAINING QUALITY

The Hematoxylin and Eosin (H&E) staining is the standard and preferred method for viewing cellular and tissue structure detail of routine diagnostics. This stain method is simple, fast, stable, and affordable.

Immunohistochemistry (IHC)

VISUALIZING ANTIBODY-ANTIGENS

The chromogenic immunohistochemistry (IHC) and fluorescent staining enables selective identification of cell antigens in tissue sections. SeqMatic’s immunohistochemical staining is used for projects that involve the visualization of abnormal cells in oncology research projects; as well as analysis of the distribution and localization of biomarkers and differentially expressed proteins in different parts of biological tissue.

Visualization of antibody-antigen interaction is achieved via:

Chromogenic immunohistochemistry (CIH) – antibodies are used to detect antigens in tissue using a reporter enzyme and a colored chromogen
Immunofluorescence – where the antibody is tagged to a fluorophore; SeqMatic offers 4 channels FITC TRITC CY5 DAPI.
